WKP-SEC: This is for customers that have existing or are purchasing PV3 or HP Tuners Hp Tuners MPVI2, MPVI2+, or WKP RTD device and want a WKP calibration.
WKP-SEC+VL: This is for customers purchasing a WKP ECU flash / tune / calibration for an existing PV3 or Hp Tuners MPVI2, MPVI2+, or WKP RTD device that you flashed another vehicle with and used the existing vin licenses on that device or previous tune file.
If you are flashing the same initial vehicle you only need WKP-SEC
WKP-SECBF: This is for customers wanting to send their ECU for bench flash and do not wish to purchase a calibration delivery device such as PV3 or Hp Tuners MPVI2, MPVI2+, or WKP RTD to flash the vehicle remotely yourself at home.
Should you wish to purchase a device to support our calibrations at a later date that can still be done. All our options to flash the ECU use the same files no mater the delivery method.
The base tune files are the same for all modifications are as stated below then we tailor the calibration for specific modifications listed.
- All torque limits are removed so whatever timing and fuel we calibrate to the unit it will make max power for that calibration and not hit any toque limits short of that under any conditions except if theses conditions reach unsafe values listed below.
- Air Intake Temperatures, Coolant Temperatures, Engine Knock, Altitude
- All gears will have full power
- Driver demand / Toque request maps are linearized for the pedal and throttle body for a more 1:1 feel of pedal travel vs power output.
- All keys will have full power, no limits.
- All speed limiters are removed as well, so the unit will accelerate to top speed until limited by power, gear ratio, or rev limit.

- Rev Limit is increased to safe amount over stock determined from dyno testing.
- Fueling is calibrated for max safe power AFR we have determined from testing on the dyno for modifications listed.
- Timing is calibrated for max safe power per fuel you are running and modifications listed.
- Fan temps are lowered to optimal power levels for each unit we have determined from dyno testing.
- Cold / Initial start maps are calibrated for stock or modifications for smooth starting, idle and shifting.
- Idle maps are calibrated for smooth shifting.
We can calibrate any parameters to your special request. Just notate modifications, request and/or questions. We will not do anything requested past what we know is tested and safe without notifying you of pro’s, con’s and/or possible unsafe request.
On MSE3.7 & M3C ECU's big bore kit, head work, camshafts or power adder requires tuning device, wideband, remote tuning or dyno tuning. All other ECU’s head work, camshafts or power adder requires tuning device, wideband, remote tuning or dyno tuning.
Our "Spartan Series" ECU Calibration commonly referred to in the industry as "ECU Reflash" is down to a science and not all are the same. We decided to call it what it is, a calibration, when done properly. Warranty Killer Performance does all its testing, tuning and R&D in house on our three Dyno system. Engine Dyno for a properly built steady state & variable load tune at the crank. Hub Dyno for checking the tune with the load of the drivetrain at a steady state as well as different load levels with no tire or traction variable. Roller Dyno for final testing with variable load & different diameter tire sizes. This method ensures the most through calibrations on the market the same way the OEM's calibrate the ECU. We do not edit tables to control parameters by tricking the ECU like most "ECU Reflashes" on the market today. All our calibrations will run optimal no matter clutching, tire size, load, altitude or conditions. This is a performance upgrade item designed to enhance your riding experience.
