Refunds
Claims
For missing contents or damaged item claims, USPS may require the item(s), mailing container, wrapping, packaging, and any other contents received to be presented at a Post Office for inspection within 20 days.
A USPS representative may complete the required inspection forms and retain the contents until the claim is closed. Once submitted and reviewed, the claim may be approved or denied by USPS.
