Calibrations

No Switch SOTF Drive Mode Selection

Tow (+65 HP)
Normal (+125 HP)
Off Road Mode (+190 HP)

Engine Calibration

Increased throttle response (reduced or elimination of dead pedal)
Increased torque in all power levels which allows earlier shifts when applicable for improved fuel economy
Increased fuel economy due to optimal commanded fuel quantity, injection events, timing, and trans calibration
Quicker response to driver input due to transient fuel, timing, VGT and Transmission calibration
All safe non aggressive OEM detune / back down strategies are left intact or calibrated for the higher power levels that prevent premature failures
All limiters that are safe to be removed are
Exhaust brake memory and maximized exhaust brake
Tire sized changed and if opted for transmission calibration it is optimized for specific tire size / gear ratios

Transmission Calibration

Extended transmission life, increased fuel economy, and better driving experience
Increased line pressure and shift parameters that would reduce shift times, slip etc follow actual torque models in ECM and TCM
This strategy increases fuel milage, reduces duty cycle wear, eliminates harsh or random inconsistent shifts or characteristics that do not match the drivers request, input or desired feel
This is why it is important the engine calibration be done correct or our transmission calibrations be paired with our engine calibrations as the models have to mimic each other
All calibrations match the increased torque as well as earlier torque to apply it most efficiently
Refined shift points to get rid of the low rpm lazy feel at low driver inputs cruising or towing waiting on the turbo to spool that usually results in a lot of pedal travel and down shift
Tire size, gearing, and larger turbos this is a must to tailor to that specific mod
Earlier converter lock up to use increased torque & increase fuel milage as well as reduce temps
Earlier unlock & downshift eliminates lag from time of driver input to acceleration
Torque converter OEM partial lock or locked shifts to remove flare feel during shifts
TC feel can be stock or increased for less slip to lock time in 2-10 on 10 speeds
Full manual control over shifts in driver select mode
Since hydraulic pressure is directly related to your clutch holding power we do not recommend tuning over heavy tow without a aftermarket valve body and TCM calibration

No Switch SOTF Drive Mode Selection

No external SOTF switching inputs, DSP triggers, or patch-based map switching are utilized (industry first).
All power level transitions are executed natively within the OEM PCM using Ford’s torque-based control architecture, including driver demand, torque arbitration, and inverse torque modeling (industry first).
The GM Allison 10L1000 transmission calibration is fully synchronized to each power level via the modeled torque structure, ensuring consistent shift execution and clutch control across all operating conditions (industry first).
Each calibration package includes fully integrated PCM and TCM tuning, with per-order refinement available based on customer requirements. Post-deployment updates are validated against OEM control strategies, and applicable improvements are incorporated into the global calibration dataset.
This SOTF implementation retains full OEM sensor fidelity and closed-loop control, including inferred load, airflow modeling, fuel mass calculation, and torque estimation. Driver demand tables, torque limiters, and inverse torque models remain aligned to maintain accurate real-time torque arbitration between the PCM and TCM.

The 10l1000 transmission strategy is dynamically adapted per power level through:

Torque-based shift scheduling (gear selection tied to calculated engine output)
Oncoming/offgoing clutch pressure profiles and adaptive learning limits
Shift torque reduction and torque hole shaping via PCM–TCM coordination
Clutch fill time, line pressure, and slip target calibration for each gear event

Torque converter clutch (TCC) strategy is also mapped to the active torque model, including apply/release scheduling, slip control, and lockup capacity to handle increased torque without inducing excess heat or clutch wear.
