This HD pinion socket is 4140, OEM is mild steel and fails after a few uses damaging pinion nut during disassembly and assembly. This socket will work for disassembly and assembly of all Can-Am G1 & G2 ATV rear differentials as well as all Can-Am front differentials except Maverick X3 / Defender models.
