What happens if I drill too big of a hole?

As long as you use the 25/64" drill bit, that is the same exact size as the riv nut, you should be fine. If you let the drill bit walk around in the hole to expand it, only then will it bore the hole bigger. If this is the case you will need to find a big enough washer to help cover the hole and insert the riv nut.

This kit is only intended for the Maverick X3. A rivet gun is NOT included. We ship to Canada as well. More shipping information can be found here.

Do you make a rivet to bolt kit for the Maverick trail?

We don't yet. We only provide them for the X3 as of now.

I don't have a riv nut tool do you have an idea of one that works best with your kit I am replacing skid plate in a 2017 can am x3

Any special tool required to install the zerts

A rivnut tool is required.

Does the kit do the side skirts that over lap the skid plates?

If those overlapping plastics hold the skid plate yes sir.

Hey Lester, yes all of our kits for anything we offer exposed to elements are A4 Marine Garde Stainless Steel. The best you can have munfacturted.

What size hole is needed for the Rivet Nut and is a Rivet Nut installation tool required. The instruction sheet makes no mention of the tool or if additional steps are required.
