Our super crankshaft is a performance upgrade service designed to lighten the load on your crankshaft. Our service reduces the weight by 3 lbs or 20% lighter than a Can-Am OEM crankshaft. Our super crankshaft weighs 11.0 lbs versus the Can-Am OEM crankshaft weighing 14.9 lbs. Also included in this service is a knife edge balancers, balanced rotating assembly, blue-print, chamfered oil ports and a micro-polish finish. Bladed counter balancers reduce turbulence in the oil sump and reduces the drag from oil impact on counter balancers. A balanced rotating assembly reduces the harmonics for increased oiling and life of the rotating assembly, PTO, main and rod bearings. A blue print ensures the crank is true and square for even bearing wear. Chamfered oil ports allow oil to flow more easily past a radius edge versus the Can-Am OEM small chamfered sharp edge oil ports. The micro-polish finish sheds excess oil for reduced weight at operation along with reduced drag at low clearance areas for oil flow. This services works with all the Can-Am OEM crankshafts, part #: 420819935 (Crankshaft Assembly).
