Our clutch bolt kit is designed to eliminate the factory primary and secondary stretch bolts with a 12.9 grade hardened bolt. This will eliminate the common problem of factory bolts stretching and backing out causing clutch and belt box damage. This kit replaces the Can-Am OEM bolts, part #: 703500842 (Primary, Clutch Bolt Repair Kit) and part #: 703500865 (Secondary, Driven Bolt Kit M136).

DETAILS

Primary Bolt Install

• Clean crank threads with brake clean make sure all brake clean is evaporated, install bolt with red loctite on the threads, torque to 75 ft lbs best to torque with impact and check with torque wrench. Use the factory OEM washers in the OEM orientation.

Note: The primary bolt is longer than the secondary bolt.

Secondary Bolt Install

• Clean transmission input shaft threads with brake clean make sure all brake clean is evaporated, install bolt with red loctite on the threads, torque to 45 ft lbs best to torque with impact and check with torque wrench. Use the factory OEM washers in the OEM orientation.

Note: The secondary bolt is shorter than the primary bolt.
