The Can-Am® Maverick MAX 1000R exhaust is available in the Performance Series as a Dual Slip-Onn or Dual 3/4 System. The Dual 3/4 System utilizes the front portion of the stock header with an O2 Bung welded onto the supplied HMF pipe. You can expect to pick up 4-5 more horse power with the 3/4 System, and 2-3hp with the Slip Ons. You will also remain substantially lighter than the stock exhaust with any HMF system.
Fuel Tuning is absolutely required when installing an HMF Exhaust on this machine. Failure to tune the engine can cause excessive damage to the exhaust system and engine, while voiding the warranty on your exhaust and possibly on your machine. (check with local dealer).
